Registered Osteopaths study for four to five years for an undergraduate degree, similar to a medical degree, with more emphasis on anatomy and musculoskeletal medicine.
By law, osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and must continue to update their knowledge base and skills with Continued Professional Development (CPD) every year.
Since qualifying Linda worked as an Associate Osteopath in clinics in Glasgow building her experience in treating a wide range of conditions in all ages – from tiny babies to the elderly. She is now pleased to be able to bring this experience to her own clinic in Bearsden.
Linda is also trained in Medical Acupuncture which can be used in parallel with osteopathic techniques for the reduction of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.
